This weekend I hit the ground running, and never looked back!  Check out what I got in to.

Zen + a Slice. After a hard week of work, I set out for some me time at one of my favorite spots, Westside Pie, along with my Aquarian Creative Loafing horoscope. It set the scene for a great weekend!

After my zen moment, I went home and got serious about my weekend… because it was going to be a good one! Put on my turquoise power bird and flew the coup.

A Lady Named Pearl, an up and coming Atlanta artist, performed to the beat of a Djembe drum and her new album, Transformation. It was held in the most beautiful (and under the radar) Stuart McClean Gallery in Inman Park. The Venue couldn’t have been more cool + perfect.

The After Party moved to P’Cheen International Bistro & Pub the perfect balance of people watching and the Cancun Cletus (Moonshine that you need to taste, if you haven’t already!)

It was my friend’s birthday, so I found a fabulous, new vintage spot — Sherane’s Vintage Closet — to find some bday swag. All I know is, from the looks of this picture, fabulousness is sometimes infectious.

That fabulousness in the last picture didn’t stop at that fur. Her necklace is the coolest thing too — a really unique piece of jewelry called “Ojo de Venado” (translation: deer’s eye) made from a nut and then adorned with initials. Want one? You’ll have to fly to Panama to get it!

Found a new kid on my block. Billy Reid, the recently named the CFDA Menswear Designer of the Year, has brought vintage, southern style to Atlanta’s Westside. A perfect complement to us loft-dwellers and vintage-lovers alike. Look out for a Boutique on Blast post of the new-to-neighborhood post in the very near future!

Well, that was pretty much it… although I didn’t seem to Instagram any of my vintage adventures for one of personal shopping clients!  You’ll just have to wait to see what I found for her. :)

Alright, good people.  … Until Next Time <3
